1929 Mercedes SSK Gazelle Replica Convertible built by Classic Motor Carriages Inc. The Gazelle is a popular replica of the famous 1929 Mercedes-Benz SSK, which is one of the most iconic sports cars from the 1920’s. It has sleek lines, a distinctive grill and classic styling features. It was built in 1986 on a 1973 Ford Pinto platform. It has a four cylinder Ford engine with a 3 speed automatic transmission. The car is in good condition and looks really cool. It does have a few scratches and nicks but they have been touched up and are not noticeable. The car starts and runs great! It rides nicer than most of other classic cars. It has a fiberglass body that is in excellent condition. The undercarriage is in nice condition with no rust anywhere. The interior is in excellent condition, even the carpet is very clean. The gauges all work but the gas gauge reads lower than it should. It is a fun car to drive and gets lots of attention everywhere. The engine runs smoothly and has lots of power. It has a small back seat that our grandkids love to ride in, however it is rather small for adults.
