Victor Panchyshyn turned car collecting into his lifestyle in the early 70's. His son, Lorne, had the same interest and together they accumulated a wide portfolio of rare and unique antique cars.
Sadly Victor passed away in 2021 on Father's Day at 72 years old. He lost a hard-fought battle with Lymes disease. His car legacy was then left to his wife Linda Panchyshyn.
On June 7th of this year Linda and her daughter-in-law Sharilyn, Lorne's wife, were in a terrible car accident. They were rear-ended by a semi-truck while they were stopped at a red light intersection by Gibbons, Alberta. Linda was severely injured with nine (9) broken ribs and shattered vertebrae culminating in extensive back surgery. Many plates and rods were used to infuse her spine due to the severity of the damage. Sharilyn suffered a concussion and severe whiplash which she is still recovering from today.
Due to these unforeseen circumstances Linda is now faced to auction off her remaining cars to pay for the newly expected expenses that her life will require. Lorne has decided to auction some of his rare muscle cars alongside his mother. He plans on using the profits to buy the wrecking yard from Linda to keep his father's legacy alive for the next generations
